TPRWin is a Windows-based software application from Quantachrome Instruments designed to control and analyze temperature‑programmed experiments used in catalyst and materials characterization. It streamlines the setup and execution of TPR, TPO, and TPD methods on supported Quantachrome chemisorption and reactor systems, capturing detector signals in real time and converting raw data into quantitative results.

Key capabilities include:

  • Method setup and instrument control: define temperature ramps and holds, manage gas switching sequences, and configure sample pretreatment steps.
  • Live visualization: monitor temperature, gas flows, and detector signals during the run.
  • Data processing: baseline and drift correction, smoothing, peak identification, deconvolution, and integration.
  • Calibration tools: TCD sensitivity calibration and reference-based quantitation routines.
  • Calculations: gas uptake and consumption (e.g., H2, CO, O2), oxygen storage capacity, acid-site density, dispersion, metal surface area, and reaction stoichiometry.
  • Reporting and export: generate configurable reports and export data to common formats with embedded method and run metadata.

TPRWin helps researchers evaluate redox behavior, surface acidity, and active-site characteristics with a consistent, reproducible workflow across compatible Quantachrome instruments.

TPRWin is developed by Quantachrome Instruments. The most popular version of this product among our users is 2.0. The name of the program executable file is TPRWIN.EXE.
